• Sailing Ship: They came to America with a colony of Swiss immigrants led by the Reverand Maurice Goetschy, May 29, 1735, Philadelphia Pennsylvania. 378 They left Windlach for America in 1734(1)[also page 81 (surname mis-transcribed as “Auer”), Lists of Swiss Emigrants in the Eighteenth Century to the American Colonies, Albert Bernhardt Faust, published by National Genealogical Society, Washington, DC, 1920]. They came to America with a colony of Swiss immigrants led by the Reverend Maurice Goetschy on the ship <u>Mercury <ref/mercury_list.jpg></u>, which sailed from Rotterdam via Cowes, Isle of Wight, England and arrived at Philadelphia on 29 May 1735.
