Arrived in America on May 29, 1735 on the ship Mercury in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania list as Hs. Ulric Aner, age 5. Johann and Margaretha moved to Towamensing Twp by 1770 and Johann is listed on the tax rolls in 1772.
Secured a warrent for 25 acres of land in what is now Lehigh County on Jan 23 1754. He secured another warrant for 50 acres on Mar 19, 1755. In 1772, he paid a proprietary tax of 12 shilllings in Towamensing Twp, Northampton (now Carbon) County.
