Note: Will was contested by Fannie C. Schleicher, widow, who married Lewis D. Schleicher on 22 Feb.1911. Her affidavit states Lewis D. Schleicher did not leave any surviving lineal descendants and she claimed her widow's right to the estate under Pennsylvania intestate law. Lewis' estate included a dwelling at 519 N. 8th St. in Allentown as well as four other properties in the city with a total appraisal of $9,600.00. A final accounting of the estate was made after the death of Fannie on 2 Apr.1944.
