General Notes:
More work is needed to document Christina's parents.
I originally showed her as the daughter of Joh Georg Harter and his wife Eva, but now we feel that she was not. I corresponed via email with Bob Harter about that relationship,

Sorry, but no. Christina, daughter of Joh. Georg and Eva Harter, married Adam Kruger about 1773. They had at least three children, Christian, Peter, and Anna Maria per the Frederick County, MD records. I have no firm confirmation of the marriage, but there are many instances of Adam Kruger being associated with the Harter family in Maryland. Adam and Christina did not move to Virginia with the rest of the family when they moved south of Roanoke about 1790.
There is another Christina Harter, born 1758 in Northampton County, PA, who married a Conrad Roehrig. This was a different woman, probably the daughter of Johannes Harter, son of Andraes and Anna Catherina Harter, who is known to have raised his family in Northampton County. (Johannes' will, however, indicates that his daughter, Christina, was married to John Hems as of 1798.) Others have mixed up the two Christinas.
There has been a lot of confusion between the families of Johannes Harter and Joh. Georg Harter, largely based on the incorrect assumption that Johannes and Johann were interchangeably used names in the 1700s. They were not, and there is now plenty of evidence that the two are not the same person and are probably not even related.
Christina married Conrad Rehrig, son of Simon Rehrig and Unknown, in 1777.204 (Conrad Rehrig was born on Feb 23, 1757 in , Carbon Co, Pennsylvania 204,220 and died on Aug 18, 1834 89.)
