MICHAEL ALTENDORFER (#42) was the son of ANDREAS ALTENDERFER (ALTENDOERFFER) (#84) who was born 1716 in Germany and died 1781 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. His wife and the mother of Michael was ANNA MARIA (#85) of unknown background. ANDREAS ALTENDERFER (Altendorff) was one of our immigrant ancestors who arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 7 Oct 1751, on the ship "Janet," William Cunningham, Capt, from Rotterdam, last from Cowes with 220 passengers. (Rupp (1927). (p. 267)).
