10/28/1918Letters of Administration for Elias A. Henry recorded October 28, 1918 (Berks County, PA, Volume ?, Page ?). Edward D. Trexler was the administrator (sons Milton Henry and James Henry, having renounced). Estate records state time of death as 10.05 AM on 7/13/1917. Estate assets consisted of $180.35 received from Albert B. Smith (administrator of Lydia Smith, deceased). Estate liabilities consisted of $318 ($3/week times 106 weeks) owed to Berks County Almshouse for the period 6/29/1915 to 7/13/1917).
The sons Milton and James suggest that Elias A. is our guy. Could the preacher's handwriting have been misread as an 'S' rather than an 'A' on the marriage record or the Estate records misread as an 'A' rather than an 'S'?
